CheerMatch was developed with the specific goal of making the online experience compare closely to in-person competition venues. We wanted to make sure that our participants could confidently submit competition video via a proprietary mobile app. and know that all the participating teams would use the same method (record two routines and submit the best single capture for scoring). Other “virtual” competition venues allow teams to make several attempts at capturing the perfect routine. Most often, this results in all the teams submitting zero deduction routines. Is the later method really a legit competition?
